At its core, Windowpane Magazine is committed to artful self-expression that engages with themes like identity, relationships, culture, belonging, self-discovery, and various other complexities of human emotion.

As George Orwell said, good prose is like a windowpane. We hope our storytelling becomes a window into lives that mirror your own, challenge your perspectives, and offer moments of reflection on what it means to be human.

Idayat Oluwatosin Jinadu is the relentless dreamer behind Windowpane Magazine. She is a multidisciplinary creative who believes in people’s abilities to make and remake themselves for the better, and Idayat is also over at Hidden Gele Journal, expanding the narrative spaces for Nigerian Women. She’s an ardent feminist, a creative writer, brand strategist, and an avid reader. She’s thinking of getting a cat! Idayat appears on Windowpane Magazine as the founder and editor-in-chief.

 

Eniola Ewawumi Busari is a multifaceted creative force who weaves together worlds through words and voice. As a seasoned virtual assistant, editor, and career coach, she empowers others to navigate their professional journeys with confidence and purpose. Driven by an insatiable curiosity and an optimistic spirit, she has successfully ventured into multiple niches, proving that versatility is not just a trait but a superpower. She embodies the philosophy that learning is a lifelong journey, consistently transforming knowledge into actionable wisdom that benefits others. Okezi Patrick is a creative writer with a passion for storytelling and a dream of a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive. She believes in the power of words to inspire, to educate, and to empower. Okezi’s writing is a reflection of her values and her hope for a better world. She writes about the things that matter most to her: justice, equality, and the human experience. She is imperfect, still learning, and growing every day, but she is committed to using her words to make a difference. When she’s not writing, Okezi can be found indulging in her favorite comfort food – noodles! She is a self-proclaimed noodle addict and loves trying out new recipes and flavors.
